The first step to working with The Greer Group is our registration process. We invite you to schedule an appointment to meet with one of our professional consultants to discuss your career goals and objectives and evaluate your computer skills. Once an appointment is confirmed you can fill out our on-line application. Your application will be waiting for you at our office the day of your interview. Together you and your consultant decide the best way to manage your career search. Our process ensures that we understand your qualifications and you understand our representation of your career.

We ask all candidates, regardless of their skills and experience, to provide us with a resume (preferably a plain text, email version), 3 professional references and proper identification to complete state and federal tax forms as well as the federal I-9 form required by law. For a list of proper identification, click here.

Once the registration process is complete we can begin discussing suitable opportunities with you. A Greer representative will contact you to discuss the opportunity and obtain your consent to refer your resume and skill summary to our client. We will not forward your credentials without discussing the opportunity with you first. We manage the interview and offer process for you to successfully negotiate the best compensation and employment package.

Temporary assignments are an excellent way to develop additional skills, learn new skills, or enter the job market in a new city. We offer full and part-time opportunities in short and long term assignments.

When an assignment that matches your skills becomes available we will contact you to discuss the opportunity. In some instances, the client may request an interview for a longer length assignment. We make every effort to explain the assignment fully so that you can evaluate it. Several factors will help you determine whether the assignment you are offered is the right opportunity for you:

>
Length of assignment
>
Rate of Pay
>
Location/Commute distance
> Hours required
> Position description/skill requirements

When you accept an assignment you become one of our employees, or Associates.
We process your payroll checks weekly and deduct the appropriate taxes. You may be eligible for our benefits program depending on the length of your assignment.
