The Greer Group strives to be an extension of our clients’ human resources departments. In addition, we strive to be the source for individuals looking for job opportunities. When companies need qualified employees or a candidate needs a career opportunity, we want them to think of Greer. Known for strong ethical business practices, the professional consultants and staff of Greer consistently deliver quality and dependable results beyond our customers’ greatest expectations.

 

Our History

The Greer Group began in 1986 when Deborah Greer founded her direct placement agency, Greer Personnel Consultants. As the Research Park Triangle expanded, so did her clients’ needs. In response, a temporary division, Greer Staffing Services was added in 1991.

In 1994, a team model was implemented to best serve the rapidly growing marketplace. This innovative approach gave each client two creative Greer minds to tackle challenges, and afforded consultants better work/life balance. The service model was a huge success and is still used today.

By 1997, it was clear that Greer was no longer just a personnel firm. The name was changed to The Greer Group, Inc. – a name that reflected a full range of services and allowed for growth with the company’s goals.’

The principles of strong business ethics and innovation on which the company was founded in 1986 still provide the direction for Greer staff today. Our focus on listening to the unique needs of our clients and associates has resulted in many successful placements and strong partnerships over the years.
